Seafood Summers


Summers in Australia are spent by the beach, feasting on the best the ocean has to offer: fresh prawns, oysters and delicious fish. When I moved to London I craved salty sea goods, so I found a local fishmonger in Kentish Town, splashed out on some epic king prawns, took a picture and sent it to my family. They were so good and immediately transported back home, so I decided to immortalise the photo in ink. 

This huge artwork was made with the stippling technique, meaning it's composed of hundreds of thousands of tiny dots. It took forever, but it was worth it!
